Job Description

Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here We are seeking an experienced Traveling Project Director of Transportation to oversee large-scale transportation and electrical infrastructure projects across multiple regions. The Project Director will be responsible for all aspects of project execution, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance, while maintaining strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have experience managing transportation projects involving DOT, aviation, rail, transit, ports, highway, and electrical infrastructure, along with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced, travel-intensive environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple transportation and electrical infrastructure projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and overall project performance
  • Build strong client relationships and lead executive-level meetings
  • Oversee cross-functional teams and field operations across regions
  • Identify risks and drive safety, quality, and operational excellence
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of transportation, electrical, or heavy civil construction experience
  • Experience managing DOT, aviation, rail, or electrical infrastructure projects
  • Strong scheduling, budgeting, and cost control knowledge
  • Proven leadership of multi-site or traveling project teams
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered
