Transportation Manager Perricone Juices - 2.7 Fort Pierce, FL Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $85,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Lift truck Warehouse management system High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Summary The Transportation Manager is responsible for overseeing all transportation and logistics functions at Perricone Farms. This includes daily order routing, carrier management, DOT compliance, setting freight rates, acquiring new carriers. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of finished goods and raw materials while maintaining high standards of food safety, regulatory compliance, customer service, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Transportation Operations & Fleet Management Oversee daily routing, scheduling, and dispatch of Class A drivers and third-party carriers. Direct yard flow, trailer staging, and freezer logistics for inbound and outbound efficiency. Ensure timely, accurate delivery of customer orders across all sales channels. Arrange warehouse logistics, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments. Safety & Regulatory Compliance Lead efforts to achieve zero injuries and maintain 98% of orders shipped in full
On-Time Delivery:
>98% of orders on time
Fleet Utilization:
Maximize efficiency of all rolling stock
Transportation Cost:
Meet or reduce cost-per-unit targets
Labor Productivity:
Exceed hourly and throughput benchmarks Food Safety Responsibilities Comply with FDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, Non-GMO, and Organic standards. Support food safety audits, inspections, and system reviews. Assist in maintaining the Food Safety & Quality Management System.
