The candidate must be able to enhance team member performance, achieve divisional goals, and effectively lead a team in a positive and forward-thinking atmosphere. Utilizes knowledge of procedures to enhance uniformity of best business practices to perform the functions of the division more efficiently.

Essential Functions/Specific Responsibilities:

Coach and mentor Driver Managers and Planners to ensure operational targets and safety goals are achieved. Communicate and work with sales to ensure profitability of lanes and to maintain a load ratio above contract goals at all times. Personnel scheduling and recommendations for change when necessary. Maintain positive relationships with the driver force and field personnel. Coach and mentor drivers to meet or exceed key performance factors. Regular monitoring of asset utilization (trailers/tractors/drivers) and provides direction on movement of those assets. Travel to customer and off-site locations. Skills Required for
