Landscape Field Supervisor Company:

Stuart, FL Job Type:
Full-Time (40+ hours per week, Monday-Friday) Position Overview Cove Gardens Landscaping is seeking a motivated, highly organized, and hardworking Landscape Field Supervisor . In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our field operations. You will be responsible for overseeing job workflows, keeping projects running seamlessly across multiple crews, and serving as the primary bridge of communication between the field, senior leadership, vendors, and our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities Client & Management Liaison:
Professionally communicate directly with customers on-site. Act as the vital liaison between senior management and the customer when senior management is not present, ensuring client needs are met and expectations are managed flawlessly.
Vendor Relations:
Establish, foster, and maintain professional, positive relationships with nurseries, suppliers, and other field vendors to ensure smooth material coordination and delivery tracking.
Manage & Coordinate:
Oversee and coordinate multiple crews and manage multiple job sites simultaneously to ensure everything runs seamlessly and efficiently.
Project Timeline & Quality:
Take full ownership of meeting projected project timelines. Ensure all projects are completed within the given timeframe without compromising our standards of exceptional, top-tier craftsmanship. Training & Accountability (Performance Management): Train and coach entry-level ("green") laborers, provide constructive, on-the-fly feedback in the field, and hold all team members accountable to the company's high safety and quality standards.
Leadership & Crew Motivation:
Keep team morale, momentum, and work pace high, even when challenged by heavy physical labor or difficult weather conditions (such as extreme Florida heat or heavy rain).
Strategic Delegation:
Maximize field efficiency by evaluating individual crew members' strengths and delegating tasks appropriately (e.g., knowing who is best suited for precision masonry cuts vs. who is best suited for trench excavation).
Communicate & Report:
Maintain strong, clear communication with senior leadership and the main office. Provide daily progress updates—including field photos and videos—to keep management fully informed on project status, resource needs, or material changes.
Go Digital:
Use a company-provided iPad to complete daily paperwork, capture progress media, and log project details directly back to the main office. Lead by

Participate actively in the physical execution of work orders alongside the installation crews.
Transport Safely:
Prepare, secure, and drive trucks and trailers to transport equipment, machinery, and materials safely to and from job sites.
Safety First:
Ensure all crews operate vehicles, landscaping tools, and heavy equipment safely, adhering strictly to traffic and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements Professional & Personable Demeanor:
Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, with a professional attitude and relatable personality when interfacing with clients, vendors, and team members.
Trailer Towing Experience:
Proven experience driving trucks and towing trailers is essential .
Driver's License:
A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required .
Landscaping Expertise:
Prior landscaping experience is required; machine operating experience is highly preferred.
Bilingual Preferred:
English and Spanish communication skills are a strong plus.
Organization, Delegation, & Leadership:
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills with a proven ability to manage multiple moving parts, delegate work strategically, keep multiple crews on track, and consistently hit deadlines.
Physical Capability:
Ability to perform demanding physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions, including the Florida heat.
