Halff is seeking a Deputy Practice Leader that would support and provide leadership in the Florida transportation market with a general focus on strategy and growth with FDOT. The selected individual will be responsible for the growth and success of transportation planning, design, and related services within the region, including business development, client relationships and project delivery.
What you will do:
Provide strong leadership and guidance in areas of technical expertise and provide oversight to the transportation practice in the region Research markets, develop/maintain client relationships, and identify business opportunities Create/execute strategic plans and guiding practice growth Lead successful strategic pursuits and capture planning for specific opportunities Work closely with operations staff in the region to identify, hire, develop and grow key staff and resources, and ensure successful project delivery Work closely with Halff's national Transportation Practice to ensure implementation of best practices and leveraging firm-wide resources What you will need: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree A minimum of 15 years or more of progressive experience Licensure leadership and expertise in the industry Strong client connections, particularly DOT relationships at senior levels Positive attitude, self-directed yet a team player, with a focus on integrity and quality Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
