Fleet Manager — Hydraulics Hose Shop, Weekly Pay + Monthly Bonus up to $1,000 As Fleet Manager, you will oversee the planning, scheduling, maintenance, compliance, and operational readiness of the MH Mobile Fleet. You will lead a team of dispatch personnel and technicians while ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant, cost-effective, and fully operational. This role requires a leader who can analyze operational data, identify inefficiencies, implement practical solutions, and maintain high standards across fleet performance and team execution. You will also play a key role in fleet expansion by assisting in the design and buildout of new service vehicles. Additionally, you will be instrumental in creating and updating policy and procedures for the fleet to ensure consistency, safety, and regulatory compliance across all operations. The Fleet Manager is expected to maintain strong communication with Operations leadership, dispatch, inventory control, and technicians to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence Key Responsibilities Fleet Operations & Technical Oversight Oversee the daily functionality, utilization, maintenance, and readiness of all MH fleet vehicles. Ensure fleet compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain accurate records of inspections, registrations, maintenance schedules, repairs, and compliance documentation. Analyze vehicle performance, repair trends, and operational costs to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction. Make informed recommendations regarding vehicle repair, replacement, upgrades, and disposal. Assist in the planning, development, and buildout of new fleet vehicles. Leadership & Team Management Lead and support dispatch personnel and field technicians to ensure operational consistency and accountability. Foster a team-oriented environment focused on communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Provide hands-on support when operational needs require assistance in dispatch coordination or technician support. Ensure employees follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards outlined in the MH Policy Manual. Create, develop, and maintain fleet-specific policies and procedures to ensure consistency, safety, and regulatory compliance across all fleet operations. Work closely with the Operations Manager to align fleet strategy with company growth objectives. Dispatch & Customer Service Coordination Partner with dispatch to ensure customers receive prompt, professional, and efficient service. Help optimize technician scheduling and routing to maximize productivity and responsiveness. Support resolution of customer concerns and operational issues in a timely and professional manner. Inventory & Equipment Coordination Collaborate with the Truck Inventory Supervisor to ensure technicians complete bi-weekly inventory checks. Communicate concerns related to truck inventory, equipment readiness, and operational needs. Support inventory accountability while maintaining primary focus on fleet operations and team leadership. Safety & Facility Standards Promote and enforce safe operating procedures for vehicles, equipment, and employees. Monitor driver safety and address concerns proactively. Maintain cleanliness and organization standards in fleet areas, offices, and common workspaces. Qualifications Strong leadership and organizational skills with a technical and operational mindset. Experience in managing fleet operations, service teams, dispatch, or field technicians preferred. Ability to analyze operational data and make sound, cost-effective decisions. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet compliance, and safety regulations. Proficiency in scheduling, documentation, and operational tracking systems. Ability to lead with accountability, consistency, and professionalism.
