Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and transportation-savvy Dispatch Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will lead and oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of transportation schedules. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-potential leader ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day dispatch operations ensuring timely and accurate assignment of drivers, equipment, and routes
  • Monitor driver performance, adherence to schedules, and DOT regulatory compliance
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse teams, planners, and customers to resolve service issues promptly
  • Manage shift planning, manpower forecasting, and load planning to achieve operational targets
  • Provide coaching and real-time feedback to drivers and support staff
  • Maintain accurate records related to dispatch activities, service issues, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and service levels

Transportation Supervisor Requirements Qualifications & Experience:
  • College coursework or degree in logistics, transportation, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of dispatch or transportation operations experience (supervisory experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of
DOT/FMCSA
regulations and transportation best practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with dispatch software, routing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
