Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, alert, and detail-oriented Traffic Coordinator to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe, efficient, and orderly movement of vehicles and pedestrians within our designated zones. You will serve as the eyes and ears on the ground, actively monitoring traffic flow, preventing congestion, and providing clear, helpful directions to drivers and visitors.
Key Responsibilities Monitor Traffic Flow:
Actively observe and manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure smooth operations and prevent bottlenecks or safety hazards.
Provide Directions:
Greet visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel warmly, providing clear, accurate navigation to parking areas, loading docks, or specific campus locations.
Enforce Parking Regulations:
Guide vehicles to appropriate parking spaces and ensure fire lanes, loading zones, and restricted areas remain clear.
Maintain Safety Standards:
Utilize hand signals, whistles, batons, or signage to direct traffic safely, especially during peak hours or special events.
Communicate & Coordinate:
Work closely with security teams, site managers, or local authorities via two-way radio to report accidents, delays, or unusual activity. Respond to

Assist in clearing minor disruptions or directing emergency vehicles safely through the property if needed.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Previous experience in traffic control, security, parking operations, or customer service is preferred but not required.
Communication:
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to give clear, assertive, and polite directions.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, walk, and remain outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
Situational Awareness:
High level of alertness and the ability to react quickly to changing traffic conditions or safety hazards.
Teamwork:
A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Requirements:

Pay:
$17.00 per hour
