at Insight Global, LLC in Antioch, Illinois, United States Job Description Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee maintenance, operations, and performance of a semi-trailer fleet in Antioch, IL. This role is ideal for candidates coming from large-scale fleet environments (Walmart, Amazon, or similar) who have progressed from Maintenance Manager or Shop leadership roles and bring strong operational oversight, team leadership, and preventative maintenance expertise. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the semi-trailer fleet, ensuring safety, uptime, and cost efficiency
• Manage and lead maintenance teams, including technicians and shop personnel
• Drive preventative maintenance programs and ensure timely repair execution
• Monitor fleet performance, downtime, and maintenance KPIs to optimize operations
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Coordinate scheduling of maintenance, inspections, and repairs to minimize disruption
• Manage vendor relationships, parts procurement, and service contracts

• Background as a Maintenance Manager or Shop Manager in a fleet environment
• Experience with semi-trailers (van trailers preferred) and fleet operations
• Proven experience working in large fleet environments (Walmart, Amazon, FedEx, or similar high-volume operations)
• Strong leadership experience managing technicians and maintenance teams
• Deep understanding of preventative maintenance programs and fleet compliance requirements ( DOT , safety, inspections)
• Ability to analyze operational performance and implement improvements Preferred Qualifications
• Experience managing both trailers and power units (tractors)
• Exposure to fleet management systems or maintenance tracking tools
• Strong organizational and communication skills in fast-paced, high-volume environments Leadership & Environment
• High-impact leadership role within a growing or high-volume fleet operation
