Join Our Team:
Transportation Supervisor•Are you passionate about ensuring safe and efficient transportation services for Boone County residents? Senior Connections, formerly Boone County Council on Aging, seeks a dedicated Transportation Supervisor to oversee our program, ensuring safe and efficient transportation services. Under the guidance of the Associate Director, you will coordinate and supervise public transportation activities, maintain accurate records, manage personnel, and ensure compliance with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, some college preferred, and a minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in transportation operations, logistics, fleet management, or a related field, including at least two years of supervisory experience. Experience with driver scheduling, regulatory compliance, safety programs, customer service, and operational reporting preferred. Knowledge of demand-response or public transit operations is highly desirable. You are required to have a valid driver's license with a clean record, fluent English proficiency, and ability to handle physical demands of the job. You must submit to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
