In this role, you will coordinate moving operations, ensure efficient loading and unloading, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your expertise in driving box trucks, handling heavy lifting, and managing moving logistics will be essential to providing smooth, timely relocations for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding moving experiences. Responsibilities Lead and supervise moving crews to ensure safe, efficient packing, loading, and unloading of household or commercial items. Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. Load and unload items using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual tools while ensuring proper handling techniques. Plan and execute route driving to ensure timely deliveries and pickups across designated locations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the move. Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and preparing moving supplies for each job. Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to maintain safety standards. Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a focus on moving or transportation services. Previous warehouse experience is preferred to understand loading/unloading procedures efficiently. Demonstrated ability to operate box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission. Experience with heavy lifting, moving furniture or equipment safely while maintaining proper ergonomics. Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally in diverse situations.
