Fleet Manager One Brokerage - 4.3 Allen Park, MI Job Details Contract $27 - $37 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Outdoor work CDL Dispatching DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Attention to detail Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to work on-site for our transportation operation in USPS Detroit NDC. Duties Inspect all trucks, trailers, and equipment before release, and verify driver paperwork is complete and compliant before any truck starts its route Move trucks and trailers around the yard as needed to support on-site operations Support drivers and teams when a truck is delayed for pickup — including meeting them on the road, up to 100 miles from origin Coordinate with drivers and dispatch to keep routes on schedule Track equipment condition and flag maintenance or compliance issues Keep accurate records of inspections, releases, and daily fleet activity Skills Valid CDL (required) Experience in fleet, trucking, dispatch, or logistics operations Solid knowledge of DOT and FMCSA compliance and pre-trip inspection standards Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with a flexible schedule including early mornings Able to work outdoors in all weather and physically handle yard duties Strong communication and problem-solving skills Schedule Night shift (00:00-08:00) •How to
