In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of transportation planning and freight management to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing our transportation processes and growing this division by increasing operations personnel and drivers. Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of all transportation processes and personnel
  • Oversee TMS to monitor shipments, analyze data and improve efficiency
  • Build a team of logistics coordinators and track / trace personnel
  • Coordination of all activities on all shifts
  • Work with Safety to increase truck count and driver count
  • Lead and coach employees with effective communication and professional development strategies Qualifications
  • Supply Chain / Logistics degree helpful but not required
  • Proven experience in a Transportation Manager role
  • Truck routing software experience
  • Be able to work a varied and flexible schedule
  • A solid understanding of DOT regulations
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
