Responsibilities:
Managed daily operations for multiple FedEx Ground delivery routes, ensuring on-time service and customer satisfaction. Supervised, trained, and coached delivery drivers on safety, performance, and FedEx service standards. Coordinated route planning, dispatch activities, and staffing to maximize efficiency and meet operational goals. Monitored package delivery performance, service metrics, and route productivity. Ensured compliance with DOT regulations, safety procedures, and company policies. Resolved delivery issues, customer concerns, and operational challenges in a fast-paced environment. Assisted with driver recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Collaborated with FedEx terminal management and contractor ownership to maintain service quality and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Experience managing transportation, logistics, or delivery operations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of route planning, dispatch, and fleet operations. Understanding of DOT regulations and transportation safety requirements. Ability to train, coach, and motivate drivers to achieve performance goals. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with scheduling, staffing, and workforce management. Proficiency with logistics, routing, and dispatch software. Ability to analyze operational metrics and implement process improvements. Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Pay:
From $27.00 per hour
