Meridian is looking for a dependable person to provide transportation for our clients. Must have valid driver's license, and the ability to be insured for company vehicles. Schedule is Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm with some flexibility when needed for early morning transports. Starting rate is $15-$17 an hour, based on experience.

40 per hour in addition to the above rate Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Duties): 1. Provide transportation services for clients as needed and approved, and coordinate with other departments, as needed; 2. Ensure appropriate releases are signed by transported clients; 3. Conduct monthly vehicle inspections; 4. Responsible for vehicle maintenance/repair with advice and consent from supervisor and/or manager; 5. Notification to MT staff regarding status of vehicles when appropriate; 6. Review and maintain all appropriate records with respect to vehicles, including detailed written logs in all CPI/Meridian vehicles; 7. Ensure vehicles are adequately fueled on a daily level and kept clean; 8. Coordinate job functions relating to transportation; 9. Coordinate and pick up (and/or deliver) medical prescriptions, donated food products, client meals, office and building supplies, etc. as needed; 10. Provide assistance in client crisis matters; 11. Monitor support service activities relating to transportation; 12. Other duties, as assigned.

N/A Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Current State of Michigan driver's license and satisfactory driving record. No outstanding warrant, tickets, fines nor arrests for moving violations. Be at least eighteen (18) years' of age.

Ability to read and write legibly. Have a general understanding of the program's transportation radius area. Organizational skills. Ability to utilize management information systems. Ability to work with various personality types. Ability to follow directions. Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner. Ability to work efficiently as directed with minimal errors.
