Driver Manager/Dispatcher

Primary Responsibilities:

Communicate with drivers ensuring they are staying on schedule and safely delivering cargo Prioritize drivers' schedules and determine the best delivery route Coach and support drivers who need training Set goals for drivers and help them to stay on track to achieve Monitor drivers logs to ensure they are not in violation Identify and evaluate any special requirements for each load

Skills & Abilities:

Experience in Trucking industry(Preferred) Strong written & verbal communication skills, must be able to give clear instructions Adequate in Problem Solving and Conflict resolution Superior organizational and decision making skills Detail oriented with general computer skills and initiative to learn new software systems Time management skills Ability to work in high-pressure and fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualities:

Previous dispatch experience in transportation
