Job Description
•This position is for current employees with the City of Springfield only.• The Traffic Controls Working Leader supervises and participates in the application of traffic control markings on pavement. This position operates line stripers, schedules and assigns work, and directs maintenance of equipment, among other duties. Experience, Education, and Training Requires three years of experience in the operation and maintenance of traffic control installation equipment of which one year must be in the operation of a large (120 gallon minimum capacity) paint striper for center lines and lane lines. Licensing/Certification Must possess, at minimum, the written portion of the Commercial Drivers License (CDL) exam (permit); A class "B" CDL, at minimum, must then be obtained within the probationary period.
