Job Description

Western Peaks Logistics (WPL) is a respected leader in the logistics and transportation industry, known for our commitment to safe, reliable, and timely package delivery. Since our founding, we have built a reputation based on experience and trust among shippers and customers nationwide. We are looking for Independent Delivery Service Partners (contract drivers) in the Butte, MT area. The Delivery Service Partner will play a crucial role in transporting and delivering goods to various client locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. You MUST own or lease your a delivery vehicle / 26' box truck. Vehicles must be reliable and professional in appearance as deliveries are made on behalf of a variety of clients and businesses. This is a 1099 position (SELF-EMPLOYED)

Must provide a Car, Van, or 26' Box Truck with liftgate (owned or leased), Fuel, Cell Phone Must have proper insurance for vehicle and Workers Compensation (or a waiver issued by the State of MT) Driver Load/Unload Freight delivery including installation and assembly of commercial and residential goods Lifting freight in and out of vehicle Includes lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and placing freight Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with right equipment Maintain route expectations and standards Communication with customers, dispatch, and management as needed to perform services Ability to drive in inclement weather
Contract Experience:
Prior Contract Delivery Driving Experience - 1 year preferred Ability to understand and meet strict deadlines Being reliable, dependable, and trustworthy Detail oriented with a strong customer service focus Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing clients Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency related to service provided Must pass client-required background check and drug screening Committed to safety and compliance standards for motoring public Own and maintain reliable transportation and necessary equipment Please note this ad is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of services needed of the Contractor.
