Summary We are seeking a Driver Manager to join our dynamic team at Premier Transportation. In this role, you will oversee driver operations, ensuring efficient logistics and fleet management while maintaining high standards of communication and service. This position is crucial for supporting our drivers and enhancing our overall operational effectiveness. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of drivers, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with drivers to address concerns and provide support. Analyze logistics data to optimize routes and improve efficiency. Utilize transportation management systems to track performance metrics. Coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries and fleet utilization. Oversee fleet management activities, including maintenance schedules and driver assignments. Implement training programs for drivers to enhance performance and safety standards. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve service delivery. Requirements Proven experience in transportation management or logistics roles. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to analyze data effectively for decision-making purposes. Familiarity with transportation management systems is essential. Experience in fleet management is highly desirable. Knowledge of 3PL operations is a plus but not required.
