Work Arrangements:
This role follows a fixed in-office schedule in Davidson, NC, Monday through Thursday. Fridays are a flex day, allowing team members to choose their work location.
Job Summary:
Clinet is hiring a Logistics Specialist/Transportation Coordinator to join the Global Logistics Organization in Davidson, NC. In this role, you will support shipping sites by coordinating the transportation of raw materials and finished goods. You will help ensure transportation decisions—focused on cost, on-time performance, and quality—deliver optimal value for Client and our customers.
Responsibilities:

  • Plan shipments for assigned facilities using the Oracle Transportation Management system
  • Ensure all required daily freight requirements are planned and assigned to transportation providers
  • Communicate with transportation providers and sites to ensure shipments are picked up on time
  • Follow truckload optimization and routing standards
  • Coordinate directly with customers to schedule deliveries
  • Develop and implement improvements to transportation processes and cost reduction initiatives
  • Contribute to transportation-related projects
  • Support other transportation coordinators as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, or other related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Experience with transportation management systems preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving aptitude, and the ability to manage high-volume transactions in a fast-paced environment
