Jun 1, 2026 Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead and manage our student transportation operations, with a focus on special education services. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong background in staff supervision, a track record of implementing effective operational improvements, and a solution-oriented mindset. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of special education transportation services
  • Manage the preparation and administration of the annual nonpublic, choice, and charter school transportation bid
  • Provide fiscal oversight, including budgeting and cost management
  • Supervise and support transportation personnel
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable student transportation laws and regulations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality Reporting Structure This position reports directly to the Business Administrator. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in employee supervision and operational management required
  • Training in school transportation and/or New Jersey School Transportation Supervisor Certification preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive)
  • Ability and willingness to learn transportation management software Compensation & Benefits This is a full-time, 12-month position offering a competitive benefits package, including:
