Supervisor of Transportation & Operations for School

The individual in this role will oversee daily school transportation operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with state regulations. They will manage staff, coordinate routes, and implement procedures to maintain a smooth operation. In collaboration with school administrators, this position also involves responding to emergencies and resolving transportation issues. Oversee and coordinate daily transportation operations and logistics. Manage and supervise transportation staff, including drivers and dispatchers. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures. Collaborate with school officials on transportation planning and problem-solving. Address and resolve transportation-related issues and emergencies. Salary - The salary range is $100,000 to $105,000commensurate with educationand experience as per negotiated contract. Start date is August 1, 2026.

Other Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience as determined by the Administration Must possess a valid New Jersey School Transportation Supervisor Certificate or be willing to obtain Minimum three years public school transportation experience Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, G-Suite and public school accounting software Ability to implement and maintain transportation routing software Knowledge of Food Service vendor operations and Building and Grounds operations in public schools required The ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, administrators, vendors and others in job-related areas
