Job Description

Line construction and maintenance administration role focused on permitting, invoicing, contractor coordination, purchase order requisitions, and project documentation for reliability maintenance and system improvement projects. Job Requirements Experience managing construction permits Experience preparing, submitting, and tracking permit applications Knowledge of permitting requirements across multiple government entities or jurisdictions Experience with Traffic Control Plan permits Experience processing and auditing invoices Experience creating purchase order requisitions Oracle Fusion experience Experience coordinating with contractors and vendors Experience tracking high volumes of permits and invoices Ability to work overtime as needed Preferred Skills Experience supporting utility construction projects Experience supporting capital maintenance projects Experience supporting system improvement projects Experience with emergency retrench projects Experience with planned retrench projects Experience with cable replacement projects Experience with overhead rebuild projects Experience working with trenching contractors Experience working with barricade contractors Experience using POET coding Experience coordinating with government agencies Job Responsibilities Support reliability capital maintenance and system improvement projects Manage permitting, invoicing, and contractor coordination activities Process emergency retrench invoices Create purchase order requisitions Obtain required construction permits from government entities Obtain Traffic Control Plan permits from government entities Maintain working knowledge of permitting requirements across applicable government entities Prepare, submit, and track permit applications Monitor permit expiration dates Coordinate permit renewals and Traffic Control Plan renewals Compile permit packages for government agencies Process and audit barricade contractor invoices Process and audit trenching contractor invoices Coordinate with project managers to obtain invoice approvals Coordinate POET coding for invoice processing Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, corrections, and payment status Track permits associated with emergency retrench, planned retrench, cable replacement, and overhead rebuild projects Manage high volumes of permits and invoices with accuracy and timeliness
