Independent Delivery Driver (1099 Contractor) - Niagara Falls/North Tonawanda NY

We are seeking drivers to join our team 4-7 days a week, including weekends. As a delivery driver, you will deliver packages to households in a timely manner. This is a 1099 contracted position, and you will be responsible for using your own vehicle and resources to complete deliveries within Niagara Falls, Grand Island, and North Tonawanda. No CDL is required.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate your own vehicle to deliver packages to residential addresses within assigned routes and timeframes. Ensure accurate and complete loading of packages into your vehicle. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and parking, maintaining a strong focus on safety. Remain professional and courteous under all circumstances Utilize navigation tools and apps to optimize your routes and efficiently navigate through traffic. Communicate and collaborate effectively with the dispatch to provide updates and resolve any delivery-related issues. Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transportation and delivery. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation

Requirements:

No CDL is required Must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as well as clear a 10-panel drug test. MUST own a reliable, well-maintained vehicle (Minivan or Cargo Van required) MUST own an up-to-date working smartphone Ability to lift packages weighing up to 120 pounds. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in using smartphone apps and navigation tools. Excellent communication skills. Flexible availability to work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as required.
