Job Description

Supervision of the Grounds and Transportation Department to assure safe and accurate transport of materials. 1. Supervise TCH transportation function including regularly scheduled routes that include 200 plus locations daily 2. Responsible for follow up on all calls to Transportation for nonscheduled and STAT transport requests received from 585-MOVE (Approx 10-15 Daily) 3. Responsible for assuring the safe/accurate transport of equipment, materials, supplies and furnishings to all TCH locations 4. Responsible for tracking, reviewing and adjusting daily route logs to assure efficiency of logistics and reduction of overlapping routes 5. Planning/executing large moves from address to address through communication with other departmental supervisors 6. Interview orient and train new and existing associates and establish goals and standards and evaluate performance 7. Maintain all vehicles in a safe condition and other supervisory duties as required

EDUCATION
High School Diploma, Associated Degree preferred
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Two to three years Transportation Services Lead Person experience
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Ability to train, develop and counsel employees. Familiar with tri-state roads/highways.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
CDL - Class A
