We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Transportation Coordinator / Van Driver (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. This position plays an important role in ensuring residents are safely transported to and from medical appointments and approved outings while providing respectful, supportive care throughout the process. Qualifications for Transportation Coordinator / Van Driver (CNA): Active CNA certification required Valid driver's license required Clean driving record required Must complete and maintain required physician-signed Vehicle Driver Fitness for Duty documentation Ability to safely assist residents with mobility, including transfers and wheelchair support Strong organizational and time-management skills Professional communication and strong interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care Responsibilities of Transportation Coordinator / Van Driver (CNA): Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, community outings, and other approved destinations Provide hands-on assistance with resident transfers in and out of the facility, vehicle, and appointment locations Remain with residents during appointments when needed and ensure safe return to the facility Coordinate and manage transportation schedules in collaboration with nursing staff and outside providers Communicate clearly and consistently regarding resident needs, schedule changes, and condition updates Complete required pre-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any safety concerns Maintain cleanliness and safety standards for all transportation vehicles Follow all facility policies, state regulations, and infection control guidelines Provide supportive care consistent with CNA training and standards Walk-in Interviews Welcome Monday to Friday from 10 am-2:30 pm!
