(DRS) is a leading cargo handling company operating across multiple port locations in the region. With a strong focus on efficiency and safety, DRS provides expert stevedoring services for a variety of cargo types, supported by a skilled workforce and specialized equipment. Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Cruise Terminal Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cruise terminal facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and seamless terminal operations while delivering exceptional service to cruise passengers, cruise line partners, and stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, operational planning, logistics coordination, and knowledge of maritime and port operations. Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day cruise terminal operations, including passenger embarkation and disembarkation Coordinate vessel arrivals, departures, berth scheduling, and terminal readiness Supervise terminal staff, contractors, vendors, and operational teams Ensure compliance with all maritime, safety, security, customs, and port authority regulations Monitor passenger flow, baggage handling, transportation logistics, and crowd management Coordinate with cruise lines, customs officials, immigration authorities, transportation providers, and Security Agencies Develop and implement operational procedures and emergency response plans Respond to operational disruptions, incidents, and customer service escalations Maintain terminal safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency Prepare operational reports, staffing schedules, budgets, and performance metrics Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies Ensure high standards of customer service and passenger experience Qualifications Proven experience in project management, operations management, or terminal supervision within a port or transportation environment. Multilingual skills are highly desirable to facilitate communication with diverse international clients and teams. Strong leadership qualities with demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff toward common goals. Excellent management skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence and operational efficiency. Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus for effective stakeholder engagement. Skilled in supervising teams, analyzing operational data, and implementing process improvements. Exceptional communication skills for negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder coordination. Experience in sales or client relationship management is advantageous for fostering partnerships and enhancing service offerings. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Maritime Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred or a Minimum of 5 years of operations management experience in: Cruise operations, Port operations or Maritime transportation Strong knowledge of maritime safety and security regulations Proven leadership and team management experience Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operations management systems Experience working with cruise lines or port authorities Knowledge of ISPS Code, OSHA standards, and emergency management procedures Budget management experience Strong stakeholder and vendor management capabilities Work Schedule Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on ship schedules Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions when required
Pay:
$95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
