This firm delivers high-impact infrastructure projects across the Northeast, partnering with state DOTs, municipalities, and private clients to improve mobility, safety, and connectivity across communities. The Role The successful candidate will take a lead role in the delivery of traffic and roadway projects from concept through construction. This is a client-facing leadership position with responsibility for project execution, team management, and business development. Key Responsibilities Lead traffic engineering and roadway projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget Oversee project delivery from initial planning through to construction Manage and mentor junior engineers and technical teams Build and maintain strong relationships with DOTs and local agencies (e.g., CTDOT, MassDOT) Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compliant designs Support business development efforts and contribute to project pursuits Represent the firm within the local market and industry events Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain) 8+ years of experience in traffic / transportation engineering Strong background in DOT projects and public agency coordination Proven experience managing projects, budgets, and timelines Proficiency with CADD and delivering full design plan sets Strong communication and leadership skills Why Join Opportunity to work on high-visibility transportation and traffic projects Clear path into leadership and team management Strong project pipeline with state and municipal clients Flexible, hybrid working environment Robust benefits package including strong retirement contributions
