$135,000 - $170,000 per year Job Details - We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Permanent Traffic Project Manager to join our dynamic Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Traffic Analysis and a passion for developing innovative solutions to complex traffic and transportation challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage traffic engineering projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of traffic engineering projects, from initial planning and design through to implementation and completion.
Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and coordinate traffic engineering projects from inception to completion. Utilize advanced traffic analysis tools and techniques to develop innovative solutions to complex traffic and transportation challenges. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, planners, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Oversee the preparation of traffic impact studies, traffic operations analyses, and other technical reports. Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Ensure all traffic engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with applicable regulations and standards. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Continuously monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues. Promote and maintain a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering or a related field. Professional Engineering (PE) license and Professional Traffic Operations Engineer certification is preferred. Extensive experience in traffic analysis, including the use of advanced traffic analysis tools and techniques. Proven track record of successfully managing traffic engineering projects from inception to completion. Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, practices, and regulations. Strong leadership and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as VISSIM, Synchro, MicroStation, and traffic simulation software. Commitment to safety, quality, and excellence in all aspects of work.
