Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team! The primary responsibilities of the position include working with clients to coordinate transportation to health-related services.
Responsibilities :
Coordinate daily or weekly transportation schedules for clients. This includes coordinating rides to grocery stores, DSS, and other services. Direct the distribution of local resources such as bus passes, ride-share gift cards and volunteer driver schedules. Maintain accurate records of transportation usage, mileage, and costs. Generate reports for program managers, grant funders, and community partners. Work closely with the finance and leadership teams to support on-going partnerships with organizations in Tompkins County.
Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree or an associate's degree with 3-5 years' experience working with vulnerable populations. Demonstrate exemplary skill fostering strong relationships with individuals who might struggle with mental illness, addiction, poverty, homelessness and other social service needs. Very organized with the ability to track and document hundreds of transportation cases at a time. Strong data management experience, with an excellent knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets. Ability to work well independently and to collaborate effectively with local agencies and clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with court involved individuals, navigating local resources, and creating referrals to services within Tompkins County.
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
