This role manages vehicle maintenance, driver performance, fuel usage, regulatory compliance, and fleet optimization while supporting daily operational needs. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the company fleet, including cars, trucks, vans, or specialized vehicles. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life. Monitor vehicle performance, fuel consumption, mileage, and repair costs. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and safety standards. Coordinate vehicle inspections, registrations, licensing, and insurance renewals. Supervise and support drivers and transportation staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Investigate accidents, incidents, and vehicle damage reports, and implement corrective actions. Negotiate with vendors, repair shops, and suppliers to secure cost-effective services and equipment. Maintain accurate fleet records, reports, and documentation using fleet management software. Analyze operational data and prepare reports on fleet performance, costs, and efficiency improvements. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and procurement of new vehicles and equipment. Implement strategies to improve fleet productivity, sustainability, and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Proven experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics, or operations management. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle maintenance, and transportation safety standards. Experience using fleet management software and GPS tracking systems. Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and reporting tools. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain management, or logistics preferred 3-5 years of relevant work experience Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations Organizational skills
