Job Description

Lewis Truck Lines is a family-owned and operated over-the-road trucking company based in Aynor, SC with a fleet of approximately 150 trucks. We are seeking a motivated, organized individual with strong communication and multitasking skills to join our dispatch team. This position requires frequent communication with drivers and customers, strong computer skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage driver schedules and routes Dispatch and coordinate freight pickups and deliveries Communicate shipment details and updates to customers Monitor deliveries and maintain accurate records Complete shipment-related paperwork and invoicing Resolve customer inquiries and service issues Negotiate rates and delivery timelines Collaborate with drivers, customers, and dispatch staff
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Transportation, logistics, or dispatch experience preferred Competitive pay based on experience.
