Freight Transportation Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and fast-paced Freight Transportation Coordinator to manage and coordinate daily shipping operations. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, cost-effective transportation of goods while maintaining strong communication with carriers, drivers, and internal teams. (Interview Based)

Irving, Tx 75061 Temp to Hire Position - Long Term Stability Call us at 972-721-9675 for more information Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule outbound and inbound freight shipments Communicate with carriers, brokers, and drivers to ensure on-time deliveries Track shipments and resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies Prepare and review shipping documents (BOLs, invoices, rate confirmations) Monitor freight costs and identify cost-saving opportunities Maintain accurate records in transportation management systems (TMS) Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams for smooth operations Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations Experience Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or shipping coordination preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and TMS systems Ability to handle high-volume shipments and deadlines
