In this pivotal role, you will oversee driver performance, safety compliance, and vehicle maintenance, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability. Your energetic leadership will drive operational excellence, enhance team collaboration, and uphold the highest standards of safety and service. Must be willing to travel to San Antonio Area occasionally Responsibilities Manage daily scheduling and routing for drivers to optimize delivery efficiency and meet operational targets Monitor driver performance, providing coaching and support to promote safe driving practices and adherence to company policies Conduct regular vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards such as air brake systems and mechanical integrity Oversee maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs and inspections to minimize downtime and extend vehicle lifespan Implement safety protocols, including training on air brake operation and mechanical knowledge, to ensure a secure working environment Maintain accurate records of driver logs, incident reports, vehicle inspections, and compliance documentation Collaborate with dispatch teams to resolve logistical issues promptly and improve overall transportation workflows Experience Proven experience in fleet management or driver supervision within a logistics or transportation setting Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including air brake operation and mechanical components Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills to lead teams, conduct training sessions, and liaise with maintenance providers Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to commercial driving operations Join us as a Driver Manager and become a vital part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering excellence on every route.
