® Companies , the Nation's leading producer of packaged concrete and related products, is seeking an experienced Transportation Manager for our San Antonio, Texas facility. The successful candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in a fast paced multi-vehicle tractor/trailer environment dispatching 20+ Drivers. Will possess excellent verbal/written communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, have experience in shipping and truck loading and have strong data entry and computer skills. Knowledge of DOT regulations is also required.JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Schedule drivers to fully utilize their maximum allotted daily drive time.
- Ensure on-time deliveries to customers per agreed upon scheduled times.
- Utilize & understand electronic logging and dispatching software and ensure program/drivers compliance.
- Handle the A/R functions that come with closing and billing ship tickets
- Experience in McLeod, TMS, Samsara would be ideal
- Daily dispatching responsibilities and working closely with a large fleet of drivers
- Ability to comfortably work in Excel and Outlook Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
