Job Description

Responsible for communicating and coordinating the movement of patients to and from University of Virginia Health using various resources such as ambulances, wheelchair vans, taxis, buses, and other means of transportation. Responsible for communicating with various internal and external customers involved with patient movement and medical center operations. Work requires detailed knowledge of regional geography, familiarity with insurance coverages, and application and interpretation of organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

  • The starting base rate for this role is $20.00 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
