We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Fleet Manager to join our team and support our mission of safeguarding lives and property. Position Summary We're looking for a highly organized, hands-on Fleet Manager to take the lead on our day-to-day fleet operations. This role will oversee maintenance, compliance, scheduling, and overall vehicle performance for our fleet of light-duty trucks and vans. This position is a great mix of office and field work. You'll be working closely with drivers, coordinating with vendors, and making sure our vehicles stay safe, reliable, and ready to go. The right person is a strong communicator, comfortable working with a wide range of people, and not afraid to get their hands a little dirty when needed. Key Responsibilities Fleet Operations & Maintenance Oversee the daily operation and performance of the fleet Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs with vendors Handle minor repairs and troubleshooting (e.g., bulbs, batteries, basic fixes) Keep track of service schedules, registrations, inspections, and compliance Driver & Workforce Support Be the go-to person for drivers and field staff for fleet-related needs Build a positive working relationships across a diverse team Provide guidance on vehicle use, safety, and company policies Assist with onboarding and training related to fleet operations Fleet Administration Manage vehicle scheduling and assignments using Outlook and other tools Monitor telematics to track usage, driver behavior, and maintenance alerts Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports Review fleet data and suggest ways to improve efficiency, safety, and costs Handle insurance claims from start to finish Qualifications Required Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Excellent communication and people skills Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook for scheduling and coordination Ability to handle basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Familiarity with fleet safety regulations and compliance Experience working with maintenance programs and vendors • Mechanical aptitude or prior automotive service experience. Ability to analyze data and improve fleet performance Experience with insurance claims or incident reporting Familiarity with telematics or fleet management software Key Strengths for Success Communication and relationship building Organization and attention to detail Problem-solving and decision-making Accountability and follow-through Mechanical aptitude Adaptability and initiative Customer service mindset
