We are seeking a dependable and motivated Transportation Supervisor to oversee daily transportation operations in our Tukwila facility. This leadership role is responsible for supporting and coordinating delivery drivers, ensuring efficient route execution, maintaining safety standards, and helping drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
Lead and support the daily activities of the transportation team. Route management, planning, and scheduling including managing the float and bulk delivery routes. Provide training and mentorship to the transportation team and serve as a backup driver when operational needs require. Coordinate with warehouse, customer service, and management teams to ensure timely deliveries. Conduct driver coaching, training, and performance feedback. Ensure department is following all guidelines for PODs, paperwork, customer service, etc. Always maintain proper safety within the department per company policies. - 1-2 years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
- Experience with route planning, dispatch, and transportation management systems
- Proficiency in computer skills as well as business software applications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
