This position oversees daily transportation operations, including routing, driver support, fleet utilization, and regulatory compliance. The Transportation Supervisor works closely with drivers, warehouse operations, and leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and timely delivery of products to customers and distribution centers. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem solver, and leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, customer service, and operational excellence. What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include: Oversee daily routing, vehicle assignments, and driver communications Coordinate outbound deliveries and logistics activities to customers and distribution centers Monitor transportation operations to ensure on-time delivery performance Maintain DOT records and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and company regulations Promote and enforce transportation safety programs and best practices Support driver coaching, training, and performance management initiatives Investigate and resolve delivery, routing, and service issues Collaborate with Warehouse, Customer Service, and Operations teams to support business objectives Monitor fleet utilization and assist with vehicle maintenance coordination Analyze transportation performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement Maintain accurate transportation records, reports, and documentatio Things you need to be able to do: Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of transportation operations, routing, and logistics processes Understanding of DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of local and national geography and transportation networks Ability to solve problems and make sound operational decisions Ability to work collaboratively with drivers, operations teams, and customers Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Employees must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business and operational needs. Things that are a plus but not a deal-breaker: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Five years of transportation, logistics, fleet, or commercial driving experience Experience using transportation management systems (TMS) Experience with forecasting, reporting, and transportation analytics Fleet maintenance knowledge or experience What we think you'll love about
