This is a unique opportunity to share your passion for tree care by enhancing the skills, performance, and productivity of other members of your team.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of the methods and equipment used in pruning, cabling/bracing, trimming and removal of trees as well as knowledge of general tree biology and physiology. Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions in tree maintenance activities that follow
ANSI 133
standards. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Safely perform daily tree cutting, pruning, removals and related tree care work
  • Participating in leadership with the tree crew, including the daily schedule needs, equipment, etc.
  • Communicate regular equipment/vehicle maintenance
  • Follow OSHA and ANSI guidelines and standards
  • Assist in supervision of the productivity of the crew
Experience:
  • 5 or more years in the industry License /
Certifications:
  • Valid drivers license
  • CDL (preferred)
  • Preferred but not required: Connecticut Arborist License and/or ISA license
Compensation:
Overtime opportunities contingent with business demands. Salary is dependent on experience. Here at Marchion and Faucher we have a variety of customers, from commercial to residential and a reputation of excellence. Training and educational opportunities are available.
