Position Summary Custom Exterior Landscape is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader / Foreman to lead landscape maintenance crew . This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing daily jobsite operations, coordinating crew activities, maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on schedule. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, motivated, and takes pride in producing exceptional workmanship while leading by example. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and motivate landscape construction crews Manage daily jobsite operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards Compact construction equipment Read and interpret landscape plans, grading plans, and construction drawings Coordinate subcontractors and specialty trades when required Communicate regularly with project managers regarding project progress, materials, labor needs, and scheduling Maintain jobsite safety, organization, and cleanliness Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, vehicles, and equipment Train and mentor crew members to support company growth and employee development Perform quality control inspections to ensure projects meet Custom Exterior Landscape standards 4+ years of landscape construction experience required Previous crew leader or foreman experience preferred Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and best practices Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain project schedules Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality workmanship Licenses & Certifications Valid Connecticut Driver's License (required) DOT Medical Card (preferred) Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the workday Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications Paid time off Paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan Company uniforms provided Referral bonus program Opportunities for advancement into superintendent, operations, and project management roles Why Join Custom Exterior Landscape?
