JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and supervise a team of sod crew members to ensure high quality installation Execute Install Process with precision and expertise Maintain Install Truck/Equipment Customer Satisfaction Communicating effectively with both English and Spanish speaking team members, customer and project managers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Required:
Valid and clean Driver's License 2. Bilingual Skills, Fluency in both Spanish and English is a must 3.
Minimum Experience Required:
One year of experience working in landscape or lawn service. 4.
Minimum Experience Operating Equipment:
One Year 5. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including bending, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting 50+ lbs. 6. Ability to communicate effectively

ABOUT THE COMPANY AND THE FUTURE
Other Side Sod is a family-built business that takes pride in growing and harvesting premium quality sod throughout southwest Florida. The Company was founded in 1989. In 2004, the second generation took over. Other Side Sod no longer delivers or installs sod. Instead, it focuses exclusively on the agricultural aspects of growing, cutting, and selling wholesale turf. Today Other Side Sod owns or leases over 2,000 acres of Bahia and 700 acres of Floratam. Our main office is located in Arcadia, FL. The Company propagates, grows, and harvests different types of turf grass in fields all over southwest Florida. Other Side Sod's sister company, Smart Sod, was established in 2022 because the owners recognized the need for a sod delivery and installation partner to Other Side Sod. These two independent entities each employ a team of skilled workers. Other Side Sod's agricultural workers and Smart Sod's landscaping team are separate, but they recognize the benefit of working side by side with a shared Mission to achieve the goals of both organizations' common ownership. Together, Other Side Sod and Smart Sod are proud to serve southwest Florida customers and businesses.
