Sod Installation Crew Leader

Overview:

As a Sod Insulation Crew Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of workers in the installation of sod to enhance and beautify outdoor landscapes. Your role will involve supervising and coordinating the activities of the crew members, ensuring that sod installation is done efficiently, accurately, and within the specified timeline.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise a team of workers engaged in sod insulation projects. 2. Plan and organize daily work schedule for the crew members. 3. Ensure that sod installation is completed according to the project requirements and specifications. 4. Train new crew members on proper sod installation techniques and safety procedures. 5. Monitor and report on the progress of the project to the project manager or supervisor. 6. Coordinate material, equipment, and tools needed for the sod installation project. 7. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. 8. Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety regulations. 9. Address any issues or conflicts that may arise among crew members. 10. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients. 11. Meet with client representative onsite at the end of every day to measure the installation area.
