You'll lead a team of Transfer Care Specialists, manage vehicle operations, coordinate schedules, and ensure that each transfer reflects the care, dignity, and professionalism families expect from us.
What You'll Do Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations for mortuary transportation, ensuring timely, respectful transfers Supervise and mentor Transfer Care Specialists, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management Ensure all transport staff deliver service that reflects company values and brand expectations Maintain and oversee vehicle fleet: scheduling maintenance, ensuring cleanliness, and verifying readiness Coordinate with funeral directors, hospitals, and care facilities to align schedules and service needs Ensure compliance with health, legal, and safety standards across all transport activities Maintain detailed and compliant records of transport documentation, logs, and billing Respond to client or family concerns with empathy and professionalism Promote safety culture and uphold high standards of care during every transport What You'll Bring 2 -3 years of experience in mortuary transportation, logistics, or healthcare transport Supervisory or team lead experience in a transportation, emergency, or healthcare setting Ability to lift over 200 lbs safely using appropriate equipment Strong understanding of transportation safety standards and legal requirements Exceptional leadership, training, and communication skills Emotional resilience and professionalism in sensitive, high-pressure situations Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Flexibility to work nontraditional hours and participate in on-call rotations High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in logistics, healthcare, or funeral service are a plus
