Crew Leader

Crew Leader Description The Crew Leader is responsible for performing a wide variety of lawn care maintenance functions related to but not limited to leading crews for mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, etc. •Must be Self- motivated, hardworking, dependable, responsible, have good leadership and problem solving skills, detail oriented, and good at communicating. Requirements Must have 3+ years experience in professional lawncare Must have 2+ years experience in a Lawn care leadership role Must have valid driver's license and social security number Neat and clean appearance Adhere to company policies, standards and safety guidelines. Effectively drive and back-up a truck and trailer combination. Must be able to interact with customer as needed, communicate with team and lead. Meet or exceed company production rates set forth. Must get license to spray round up within 90 days of employment Be able to complete end of day/week tasks Ability to train new hires Attend leadership meetings Must work some Saturdays Direct Deposit for pay Physical Demands Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body in order to be able to work in various positions including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting, and walking for extended periods of time. Ability to handle and operate powered equipment Be able to lift and move heavy items up to 80 lbs or more Daily Responsibilities Works with crew to ensure that departure goal is met each morning. Goal is leaving the shop at 7:00am. Arrival is 6:45am. Make sure crews have all equipment and supplies needed for daily work including any special order inventory needed for odd work orders to be completed. Influence positive attitude of staff through effective use of management and interpersonal skills. Coordinate & execute requests from Ops Manager and/or Owner. Ensures all tools and equipment are accounted for to and from job sites.
