Hardscape crew leader

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Hardscape Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate the installation of outdoor hardscape features, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other masonry elements. This role is vital in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. As a leader on the team, you will guide crew members through complex tasks, manage materials and tools, and maintain a focus on safety and craftsmanship. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of hardscape installers, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Coordinate the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication equipment to complete hardscaping work. Oversee site safety protocols, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Manage material deliveries, storage, and inventory. Perform quality control checks on all work performed to meet design specifications and client/business owner expectations. Collaborate with business owner and follow training provided. Qualifications Proven experience in hardscape installation with strong knowledge of retaining walls, fire pits, paver patios, flagstone patios, masonry and related trades. Skilled in schematics interpretation, reading and using a zero leveler. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation (such as skid steers or mini excavators), and fabrication techniques. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards on-site. Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage project timelines efficiently.
