The position involves outdoor physical labor and requires working in a variety of weather conditions. Duties include supervising work crews, repairing water and sewer lines, locating underground utilities, installing water meters and service lines, maintaining sewer lift stations, operating heavy and light equipment, repairing streets and potholes, mowing, trimming trees, installing and repairing street signs, and assisting with other public works projects throughout the city. Pay is dependent upon qualifications and relevant experience.
