JOB SUMMARY
: The Fleet Assistant position is an autonomous role requiring considerable time, effort, professionalism, independence, ingenuity, collaboration, efficiency, integrity, coordination, and determination. The individual who fills this role must be willing and able to fulfill the entire suite of duties, goals, and responsibilities of this position under daily guidance, direction and supervision.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
: College degree or equivalent work experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel. Two years of administrative work experience involving commercial trucks and heavy equipment. Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations. Valid driver's license.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Assist with related vendor, supplier, equipment, and maintenance accounts in all New Earth locations. Monitor all fleet and maintenance related activities within the Company's asset management systems (Maintenance Pro, JJ Keller, and Samsara). Manage fleet related regulatory reports, permits, licensing, registrations, insurance audits, IFTA submissions and other reports as assigned. Other tasks as assigned by the Fleet Director.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
General knowledge of the FMCSA and DOT principles, practices and processes including current Federal and State laws, statutes, regulations, policies. Knowledge of computer systems and driver applications. Ability to exercise initiative, apply and adapt policies, principles and techniques to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of situations. Ability to use accuracy in the identification and reporting of data.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBIITIES
