Job Description
Job Description A growing transportation company is expanding its operations team in Chicago. We are looking for a Service Coordinator to remotely manage fleet maintenance and ensure timely handling of repairs, breakdowns, and service-related issues across the U.S. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch roadside assistance, towing, and repair services for trucks and trailers. Communicate with drivers, vendors, and service providers to resolve maintenance issues efficiently. Monitor incoming breakdowns and prioritize urgent situations. Work with repair shops to obtain estimates, approve repairs, and control costs. Track repair progress and ensure minimal downtime for the fleet. Maintain accurate service records and update internal systems. Collaborate closely with Dispatch and Safety teams to ensure smooth operations. Ensure compliance with company maintenance standards and procedures. Requirements Experience in transportation/logistics or fleet maintenance coordination. Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Work Hours 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM CST (Monday-Friday) Company Offers Full-time position in a stable and growing company.
