Essential Job Functions:

Provides day-to-day management and supervision over dispatch and routing duties, as well as supervision and assistance with field trip processes and procedures. Oversees field trip billing and driver payroll. This position ensures that all handbook practices and procedures are followed in effort to successfully execute planning and scheduling of district transportation. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

3-5 years of experience in dispatching, routing, payroll, field trip activities CDL with School Bus Endorsement, or ability to secure such license is required Ability to drive a school bus and perform all associated physical demands is required Ability to use a computer operating a range of software including but not limited to electronic scheduling software, Traversa, Google drive and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Position requires a high school diploma or GED (college degree in business, management, or transportation related field is preferred) Ability to read, learn and respond to a variety of job-related subjects, including the ability to read maps Ability to function in a multi-tasking, deadline-oriented environment Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Able to move in and around district buildings and campus locations
